Disaster Piece

This is the pice in the museum that I would consider to be the disaster piece. This was created by Georgia O Keeffe and the title is  Sky Above Clouds iv. I consider this a disaster piece because the white ovals that are supposed to be clouds look more like chunks of ice on the water. On the other hand this can be excused if the main point of this piece was to make an abstract rendering of clouds. If this is the case then I would take back my statement.

Masterpiece

This was  a portrait of Philippe Coypel and His Wife. I consider this to be the master piece because of the amount of time that was taken to make this painting, the part that I want to focus on is the lace on the arm of Coypel's wife. I really like the fine lines and different shades of white grey and white lines. I would think that this would be one of the main focuses of the picture because its the only part that is sticking out of the frame.
